In Our Nature Dinner
An experience by Voice for Nature in collaboration with Project Everyone and the Natural History Museum, at Goals House, Climate Week NYC, 2023.
An intimate dinner featuring a cohort of curious artists, activists, storytellers and musicians; whose creative and thoughtful reflections inspired connection, and amplified nature’s voice.
Together with a cohort of extraordinary individuals, we invited creativity to the table — and with it, an opportunity to shift the lens on our relationship to Nature and each other… Exploring ways to not only deepen our personal connection to Nature, but also our shared commitment to the UN Global Biodiversity Framework.
Thanks to our special guests — Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, Oliver Jeffers, Ms Latrice Young, and Gabriela Hearst — who made this a such a memorable and inspiring night.
“We are doing that because it is a duty — a duty of protecting Mother Earth, not only for us, but for the seven upcoming generations”
— Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, Coordinator of Indigenous Women and Peoples Association of Chad, Co-chair of International Indigenous Peoples Forum on Climate Change, at In Our Nature Dinner.
“The most important realisation I made as an artist — it’s possible to change the story. You can tell a better one”
— Oliver Jeffers, Artist and Author, at In Our Nature Dinner.
